How do I use Solis Therapy Lights? How do I set this up? What about dosage?

Position yourself approximately 20-35 cm away for deeper tissue treatments, or 40-60 cm away for surface-level treatments like facial skin. Aim to target a maximum of 2-3 areas per day, ensuring your skin is bare during therapy for the best results.
Optimal results are generally achieved with sessions 3-5 times per week. When starting, consider beginning with shorter sessions at a slightly greater distance, then gradually increase both the duration and proximity as you get used to the light’s effects.
If using the NIR (Near-Infrared) spectrum, proceed with caution on areas prone to hyperpigmentation, as NIR can sometimes intensify such conditions. For these areas, we recommend sticking to red light only.

Can I wear clothes or does the light need to be direct to my skin?
While red & near-infrared light therapy is most effective when the light directly contacts the skin, you can wear light, breathable clothing that allows the light to penetrate.
However, for optimal results, it's recommended to expose the targeted area of the skin/body directly to the light.
Is eye protection needed and is it included?
While our devices are safe and do not require eye protection, we include protective eye goggles free of charge for users' comfort. Despite common myths, the type or frequency of light our devices emit isn't inherently dangerous to the eyes. It's the brightness or intensity of the light that could pose a risk, not its specific characteristics. Therefore, we advise against looking directly into the panels because of their intensity. Just as you would avoid staring into any bright light source, we recommend either closing your eyes or diverting your gaze away from the lights during sessions.
Initially, it's advisable to start with shorter sessions at a greater distance, gradually increasing both the duration and proximity as you become more accustomed to the light's effects. Caution is advised when using the NIR spectrum on areas with potential hyperpigmentation issues, as this could exacerbate the condition. For such areas, we suggest limiting the therapy to red light only.

Will it give me a tan?
No, red light therapy does not cause tanning.
